Entry Two: Getting Squashed on Bourbon Street

Wowowow!  Did I over do it or what??  Now it's the second day and I've had time to recover, I can tell you about my first night in New Orleans.  First, my friends went out and got a type of food called BBQ.  I've never heard of it and it didn't look like something I would want to eat, but they loved it.

I tried the BBQ, but I'll take fertilizer instead….

I did like this drink though.  So did my friends...

They barely had time to digest when they decided to go and explore the city.  Guess what?  I got to go too!  We went to a place called The French Quarter, specifically Bourbon Street.  And I saw some crazy stuff

Here I am on that street.  There were a lot of people!

This lady was really nice.  I hope she reaches her goal!

These were everywhere!  The fleur de lis was too.

This man looked a lot like the guy who made me pretty!

That's a little extreme.  But not far from the truth...

A new friend!  He was a great dancer!

I met a lot of happy people on this street!

This place was fun!

What a beautiful dancer! I was mesmerized by her talent! I bet her parents are so proud of her accomplishments.

The oldest bar in America!  The piano lady was so good!  By this time, my friends were having a great time and were taking so many pictures. They also were taking a lot of something called "shots".  Remind me to look that word up later...

By the end of the night, my friends got a little too much attention by nice men on horses.  They said they worked for a place called NOPD.  Never heard of it…

Luckily, we got home safe.  Right now, my friends are sleeping the night off.  So that means I can write my posts!  As soon as I can, I'll write more!

Finally, I would like to make an announcement.  I am a conscious individual and I deserve a name.  Henceforth, I will be known as Goldie.  Not only does it describe my appearance, but also my soul.

Sincerely,

Goldie
